(To be read in conjunction with the Rules of Golf)
NORTH COURSE - Effective 24/8/2009

OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 27)
|
 |
(a)
|
Those areas beyond the boundary fences of the course.
|
 |
(b)
|
Those areas beyond the inside line of white stakes with black tops bounding the course.
|
 |
(c)
|
All Tee shots to the left of the hazard on the 16th Hole.
|
2.
|
 |
STAKED TREES (Rule 24-2)
|
 |
 |
If a staked tree or shrub interferes the player's stance or the area of his intended swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty, and dropped in accordance with the procedure prescribed in Rule 24-2b (i) (Immovable Obstruction). The ball may be cleaned when so lifted.

IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rules 24-2)
|
 |
 |
The following are classified as immovable obstructions:
|
 |
(a)
|
All stakes, tee markers, tee signs, rubbish bins, seats, chain barriers, tree guards, tree stakes, course indicator signs, sponsors signs, distance marker posts and tee signs & posts.
|
 |
(b)
|
Paths and roadways with artificial surfaces.
|
 |
(c)
|
Fixed sprinkler heads - all fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference with them may be obtained under Rule 24-2. In addition, if such an obstruction on or within two club-lengths of the putting green of the hole being played intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may obtain relief, without penalty, as follows:- If the ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and is within two club-lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which (a) is not nearer the hole, (b) avoid such intervention and (c) is not in a hazard or on a putting green.

MOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 24-1)

(a)
|
Stones in bunkers may be removed in accordance with Rule 24-1.
|

(b)
|
Hoops.

5.
|
 |
HAZARDS (Rule 26)
|
 |
(a)
|
Lateral water hazards are defined by red stakes and / or red lines.
Note: The stakes are immovable obstructions and are in the hazard.
|
6.

 |
GROUND UNDER REPAIR G.U.R (Rule 25)
|
 |
(a)
|
Those areas as defined by white stakes and / or white lines or signs.
|
 |
(b)
|
Embedded Ball (Rule 25-2) A ball embedded in it's own pitch mark (through the green) in ground other than sand may be lifted, cleaned and dropped, without penalty, as near as possible to the spot where it lay but not nearer the hole.
|
 |
(c)
|
A ball lying in Garden Beds through the Green must take relief in accordance with Rule 24-2b.
|
 |
(d)
|
Any wheel marks or wheel ruts (through the green) is to be treated as G.U.R.
|
 |
(e)
|
Trenches on Holes 6, 8 and 10 which are covered with sand or defined by stakes and or white lines.
|
7.
|
 |
BRIDGES (Rule 13-4)
|
 |
 |
All Bridges on the course are integral parts of the course. If a ball comes to rest on a Bridge the player may ground their club on the bridge when addressing the ball.
|
8.
|
 |
OVERHEAD WIRES (Rules 33-8)
|
 |
 |
Hole 12 Any ball striking any overhead wires inbounds (tee side of pylon) must be replayed without penalty. Any ball striking the overhead wires or pylons (out of bounds) must be played as it lies.
|
 |
 |
Hole 18 Any ball coming to rest inbounds after striking the overhead wires (out of bounds) must be played as it lies. Any ball striking wires or pylons that are in-bounds must be re-played without penalty.

MOTORISED BUGGY DIRECTION OIL LINES

 |
A ball coming to rest in a rut in a line indicating traffic flow shall be treated as GUR (Rule 25-1).
Note: Relief is only available as described above, not by your stance or intended swing.

ARTFICIAL DEVICES (Rule 14-3)
|
 |
 |
A player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. Devices that measure gradient, wind speed or wind direction are in breach of Rule 14-3 under penalty of disqualification.

(a)
|
Those areas beyond the boundary fences of the course and those areas marked with white stakes with black tops bounding the course.

(b)
|
These areas include the boundary fence, right of 2nd fairway and behind the 18th green.
|
2.

STAKED TREES (Rule 24-2)

(a)
|
If a stake tree or shrub interferes with the player's stance or the area of his intended swing, the ball must be lifted,
without penalty, and dropped in accordance with the procedure prescribed in Rule 24 - 2b (1) (Immovable Obstruction). The ball may be cleaned when so lifted.

In addition, if such an obstruction on or within two club-lengths of the putting green of the hole being played intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may obtain relief, without penalty, as follows:-

The bridge on the 11th hole is not in the hazard (defined by red rails). Relief may be taken under Rule 24.2
|
8.
|
 |
WASTELANDS
|
 |
(a)
|
All designated wastelands are an integral part of the golf course.
|
 |
(b)
|
Feature rocks are classified as immovable obstructions.
|
9.
|
 |

|
